NCMUG Christmas Tree

Nine NCMUG members braved the impending rainstorm to decorate and photograph the NCMUG Christmas Tree at the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree Grove at the Windsor Town Green on Sunday afternoon. There are 210 trees in the Grove and hundreds of people gathered to decorate their trees as well. It was quite a crowd. See photos at the gallery - http://gcheungschulman.smugmug.com

The trees will be lit starting on Sunday night. The holiday celebration program will be on Thursday, Dec 4 from 5-8 pm with music, crafts workshops, train rides, and ending with the holiday tree lighting at 7:45 pm. Photo SIG members will return to photograph the festivities. By the way, photographers may like to know that the sun will set at 4:51 pm on that day. Come early to catch the Golden Hour! It will be full moon that night as well.

Come and find our tree! It is along McClelland Drive, across from Powell’s Sweet Shoppe. Beware! Parking will be difficult. Be prepared to walk a bit.
