September 16th General Meeting: Tips and Tricks of Scanography
Hey muggers, if you want to see how you, yes YOU, can create remarkable fine art without going to a college of art for years and years, come on over to the NCMUG meeting on September 16th. Peter Krohn will be doing a hands-on, live demonstration of scanography, which will include revealing his secret tips & tricks, equipment, tools and his plain and simple answers to everything else you wanted to know but were afraid to ask. Oh yes, and he’ll also be talking about the all important finishing touch, the icing on the cake….creating great prints, on fine art paper, canvas & and a detailed explanation of how he achieves his signature work on aluminum. (Another goodie for attendees, Peter has donated one of his best selling mini-series aluminum prints for our raffle).

After a career in Advertising where among other things Peter invented a new kind of panty hose, a mid life crisis led him back to Graduate school where he studied, got an advanced degree and obtained a license as a Marriage and Family therapist. Then at 70 years of age he decided to take a risk to fulfill a dream of an avocation to become an artist. He had no idea how to begin… or how easy it was going to be.
