Tom Negrino:

Tom Negrino is a book author and a longtime contributor to Macworld magazine. His latest books are Macromedia Contribute 3 for Windows and Macintosh: Visual QuickStart Guide, Mac OS X Unwired (with Dori Smith), and Keynote for Mac OS X: Visual QuickStart Guide. He is also the author of the award-winning Microsoft Office v. X Inside Out.

Dori Smith:

Dori is co-author of “Mac OS X Unwired,” “JavaScript for the World Wide Web: Visual QuickStart Guide , 5th Edition,” author of “Java 2 for the World Wide Web: Visual QuickStart Guide,” and a contributor to numerous online and print computer industry magazines. A frequent speaker at industry conferences, she is on the Steering Committee for the Web Standards Project, as well as Publisher and ListMom for the Wise-Women’s Web organization.

The MCE is coming, the MCE is coming!!! Our wonderful Mac Computer Expo will happen again this year, but not without your help! Aunt Jerrie wants you!

Just two hours of your time will help support this great event which is a member benefit and features over 20 vendors and 8 great speakers.

So….here are the duties…name your preference and join the team! Full descriptions of duties will be posted at the next general meeting….or you can contact me directly:

Bert Monroy to speak at MCE 2024

Bert Monroy:

Bert Monroy was born and raised in New York City where he spent 20 years in the advertising industry as an art director and creative director for various agencies as well as his own. Upon discovering computers with the introduction of the Macintosh 128 in 1984, he embarked on a new digital career. He embraced the computer as an artistic medium and is considered one of the pioneers of digital art. Bert’s work has been seen in every major trade publication of the computer industry. His work has also been featured in scores of books which include Making Art on a Macintosh, The Photoshop WOW Book, The Illustrator WOW Book, The Art of Digital Painting, The Grey Book and The Photoshop A to Z in Japan.
