How did your ancestors live? Sometimes we are lucky enough to find them mentioned in books or find books about the communities in which they lived. That information can help “flesh out” our family history.

The May GenSIG meeting will show you how to find family histories and books about city or county histories, both online and in libraries.

We will also take a first look at the latest version of the genealogy software program most of us use, Reunion 11.

The May Gensig meeting is May 9th at St. James parish center, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway in Petaluma. The meeting starts at 10 a.m. and will conclude about noon.
