Jeff Gamet:

Jeff is the managing editor of The Mac Observer, contributing editor for Design Tools Monthly, and also co-hosts the Apple Weekly Report, Design Tools Weekly and iPhone Alley podcasts. He is the author of "The Designer's Guide to Mac OS X," and travels around the U.S. speaking on design and Apple-related topics, including popular events like Macworld Expo and the RSA Conference on technology security.

Jim Heid:

Jim Heid describes himself as a poster child for iLife: he has been taking photos, making movies, and playing music since he was a kid.

He began writing about personal computers in 1980, when he computerized his home-built ham radio station with a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model I. As Senior Technical Editor of one of the first computer magazines, Kilobaud Microcomputing, he began working with Mac prototypes in 1983. He began writing for Macworld magazine in 1984, and is now a Senior Contributor. He has also written for PC World, Internet World, and Newsweek magazines, and wrote a weekly, nationally syndicated technology column for the Los Angeles Times.

Jim is a frequent speaker at user groups, conferences, and other events. He has taught at the Kodak Center for Creative Imaging in Camden, Maine, at the University of Hawaii, and at dozens of technology conferences in between.

Jim and his standard poodle and mascot, Sophie, divide their time between San Francisco and the rugged coast of Mendocino, California.

Randy Holmberg:

Randy Holmberg is an Electrical Engineer with 30 years experience in Electronic Test and Measurement. He has worked for Los Alamos National Laboratory, Bell Laboratories, Hewlett Packard, and Agilent Technologies. His work has included cancer treatment systems using particle accelerators and telecommuncations systems. He has developed and managed module testing for systems as varied as automobile key fobs, the Space Shuttle, the International Space Station, computers, and defense. He is currently retired, pursuing his new passion for digital photography and computer graphics. He has extensive experience in all types of computer systems, especially UNIX and Windows based platforms. His interest in Computer Forensics grew out of a class offered at the Santa Rosa Junior College.

Tom Negrino:

Tom Negrino is a book author and a longtime contributor to Macworld magazine. His latest books are "Styling Web Pages with CSS: Visual QuickProject Guide," "Dreamweaver CS4 for Windows and Macintosh: Visual QuickStart Guide," and "JavaScript and Ajax for the Web: Visual QuickStart Guide (7th Edition)," all with Dori Smith. Tom is also an author of video training from Lynda.com

Ronnie Roche:

Ronnie Roche is a Certified Member of the Apple Consultants Network. Her company, Design Solutions-Technology Simplified, specializes in one to one and small group instruction and general consulting for all things Mac. She also teaches seminars on Mac related computing and applications. Her motto is "I read the manual so you don't have to."

Derrick Story:

Derrick Story is a professional photographer, writer, and teacher. He has poured his passion for photography into authoring several books, including his latest, The Photoshop CS4 Companion for Photographers and The Digital Photography Companion (both O'Reilly Media). He is also a Senior Contributor for Macworld magazine where he writes a digital photography column, and a regular presenter on the popular training site, Lynda.com. Online, Derrick has formed a virtual camera club called The Digital Story www.thedigitalstory.com that's open to all photography enthusiasts and features a weekly podcast. Kurt Schmucker:

Kurt Schmucker is a Senior Evangelist in Microsoft's Macintosh Business Unit (MacBU). He has been working in the Macintosh space since before the Mac came out in 1984. Prior to Microsoft, Kurt worked at Connectix where he was the vice president for Macintosh products, including Virtual PC for Macintosh. He also worked at Apple for over ten years, primarily in their Advanced Technology Group. He is the author of three books and has lectured internationally on object-oriented programming, UI design, and virtualization.

Dori Smith:

Dori is co-author of "Mac OS X Unwired," "JavaScript for the World Wide Web: Visual QuickStart Guide , 5th Edition," author of "Java 2 for the World Wide Web: Visual QuickStart Guide," and a contributor to numerous online and print computer industry magazines. A frequent speaker at industry conferences, she is on the Steering Committee for the Web Standards Project, as well as Publisher and ListMom for the Wise-Women's Web organization.

Tony Stubblebine:

Tony is the founder and CEO of CrowdVine, a company providing social networks for conferences, meetings and events. Before CrowdVine, Tony helped launch a social finance startup, Wesabe, and was director of engineering at Odeo, a podcast startup that went on to launch Twitter.
