iPhoto ‘09 Tips and Tricks

The latest version of iPhoto is brimming with a plethora of goodies for photographers of all skill levels. In this session, Derrick Story will show you a dozen techniques that will improve your efficiency while working with your pictures. A little Faces, a little Places, and lots more.

How to Set Up an iPhoto Referenced Library

As any active photographer knows, you can quickly fill up your Mac’s hard drive with thousands of high resolution photos. But there’s an alternative. By setting up a referenced library on a separate hard drive, you can enjoy iPhoto on your Mac without exceeding its capacity. Plus, you can point other applications to these “master” files, such as Aperture, Lightroom, and Bridge. In fact, you can have one set of photos serve as the source files for all of these programs… at the same time! Derrick Story shows you how.
